Cash advances and loans are offered to eligible businesses through Shopify Capital. You can check your eligibility directly from theCapital pageof your Shopify admin.

If your store is eligible to apply for funding through Shopify Capital, then you'll receive an email from Shopify Capital and a message on theHomepage of your Shopify admin. If you don't receive an email or message from Shopify Capital, then your store isn't currently eligible to apply for funding through Shopify Capital.

When you click to select a funding amount and request funding, the process to approve funding is started. If funding is approved, then you receive the amount in your business bank account.

Eligibility for funding through Shopify Capital

If you're eligible to apply for funding through Shopify Capital, then you'll receive an email and see a message on theHomepage of your Shopify admin inviting you to view your available funding options.

If you do not receive an invitation to view your funding options, then you are not eligible to apply for funding from Shopify Capital at this time.

Revision or refusal of Shopify Capital funding requests

The Shopify Capital underwriting process has two stages. During the first stage, Shopify Capital identifies your shop as potentially eligible to pre-qualify for funding. During the second stage, the Shopify Capital team looks at your shop’s application and confirms whether your shop is eligible to receive the amount of funding requested.

Revision of funding amount

During the second stage of the underwriting process, if the Shopify Capital team determines that your shop is not eligible to receive the amount of funding requested, they may revise the pre-qualified amounts to an amount that your shop is eligible to receive.

Refusal of funding request

During the second stage of the underwriting process, if the Shopify Capital team determines that your shop is not eligible to for funding at this time, your funding request will be refused. If your shop becomes eligible in the future, you will be invited to view available funding options again.

Shopify Capital and Shopify Payments

Shopify Capital is available to eligible merchants using Shopify Payments as well as eligible merchants using third-party payment gateways. We encourage you to use Shopify Payments because it's a first-party product that's designed to help you succeed by offering insight into your performance, custom analytics, and access to other Shopify financial solutions.

If you're using Shopify Payments when you receive funding through Shopify Capital, then you can't deactivate Shopify Payments until the total amount owed is fully repaid. If you try to deactivate Shopify Payments while you're in an ongoing funding agreement with Shopify Capital, then you'll see an无法停用Shopify支付message. When the total amount owed is fully repaid, then you can deactivate Shopify Payments.

You can still change the business bank account that is associated with your Shopify Payments in your Shopify admin atSettings>Payment providers. This changes the business bank account where your Shopify Payments payouts are deposited, as well as where your Shopify Capital repayments are withdrawn from. The repayments and payouts cannot happen from separate accounts.

Shopify Capital and third-party payment providers

If you use a third-party payment provider, then you can change your banking information at any time by clickingChange bank accounton theCapitalsettings page of your Shopify admin.
