Tips for creating a new logo: keep it simple, so it's easily recognizable and consider the feeling you want your logo to convey

You now have your business name picked out and officially own your domain. It's time to design a logo. Since you're starting out, we recommend keeping it simple and avoid investing a ton of money. A simple tool to use if you want to do it yourself is the Shopify Logo Maker. We share a link in the resources section below. You can also use Google Draw or Photoshop if you have the time and patience and want to be creative in that way. You can also go to places like 99designs.com, creativemarket.com, Upwork, or Fiverr to hire a designer to create a logo for you.

We actually created our logo on our own. Though in retrospect, we think it's easier to hire someone to help you. Here are a few tips to think about as you design your logo. The key is to have a logo that is easily recognizable. So don't add too much detail. You don't want it to be too intricate. Think about whether a consumer would be able to quickly draw a sketch of it.

The best logos have this quality. Apple and Nike do this really well, and you can easily remember and recreate their logos. Think about what you want the logo to communicate to your ideal customer. In the future, your logo will be the visual trigger for the feelings and emotions associated with your brand. It's a powerful asset for your business. And the more you take care of the brand, the more valuable it becomes over time.
