Shop Pay

Shop Payis an accelerated checkout that lets customers save their email address, credit card, and shipping and billing information. This can save your customers time when they check out, especially if they've already opted in to Shop Pay on any Shopify store. If your store offers alocal pickup or deliveryoption, then customers can choose that option during checkout with Shop Pay.

A customer needs to enter an email address at checkout in order to save their payment information. Customers who only enter a phone number in the contact field aren't prompted to save their information. Learn more aboutaccelerated checkouts.

The customer’s shipping and billing information is securely stored onShopify’s PCI compliant serversand is only shared with your store if an order is placed. Activate Shop Pay

  1. From yourShopify admin, go toSettings>Payments.
  2. In theShopify Paymentssection, clickManage.
  3. In theShop Paysection, checkShop Pay.
  4. ClickSave.

Your customers can now use Shop Pay to check out at your store. If you want to customize the language of your Shop Pay checkout, then refer toUpdate Shop Pay checkout default wording.

Deactivate Shop Pay

  1. From yourShopify admin, go toSettings>Payments.
  2. In theShopify Paymentssection, clickManage.
  3. In theShop Paysection, uncheckShop Pay.
  4. On theDeactivate Shop Paydialog, clickDeactivate.
  5. ClickSave.

Activate Shop Pay for third-party gateways

Shop Pay for third-party gateways activates Shop Pay as anaccelerated checkoutfor your online store,Facebook和Instagram.

If your online store is in the United States and meetsShopify Payments requirements, then you can activate Shop Pay for your third-party gateway.

Steps:

  1. From yourShopify admin, go toSettings>Payments.
  2. In theThird-party payment providerssection, clickManage.
  3. In theShop Paysection, checkEnable Shop Pay.
  4. ClickSave.
  5. In theShop Paysection, clickComplete set up.
  6. Enter the required details about your online store and banking information, and then clickSave.

You need to complete the setup for Shop Pay, including all of your business details and banking information, to receive payouts. If you didn't complete the set-up when you activated Shop Pay, then you need to complete it within 21 days of receiving your first payment through Shop Pay. If your Shop Pay set up isn't complete within 21 days, then all payments are automatically refunded to the customer.
