Running workflows manually in Shopify Flow

Workflows can be run manually from the Shopify admin on individual orders, draft orders, customers, or products. You can also run a workflow on several orders, draft orders, customers, or products at the same time with abulk action.手动运行工作流允许它be used even if the event that triggers the workflow has already occurred.

Considerations for running a workflow manually

Before you run a workflow from the Shopify admin, review the following considerations:

  • Inactive workflows can't be run manually. To run a workflow in the Shopify admin, the workflow must be activated. If the workflow that you want to run is inactive, then go to the workflow and clickTurn on
  • TheShopify Flow appmust be installed in the store to run workflows manually. Workflows can't be run manually at the organization level.
  • To run a workflow on an order, draft order, customer, or product, the workflow must have a matching trigger:
    • To manually run a workflow on an order, the workflow must use theOrder created,Order deleted, orOrder paidtrigger.
    • To manually run a workflow on a draft order, the workflow must use theDraft order createdorDraft order deletedtrigger.
    • To manually run a workflow on a customer, the workflow must use theCustomer created,Customer deleted,Customer enabled, orCustomer disabledtrigger.
    • To manually run a workflow on a product, the workflow must use theProduct createdtrigger.

Run a workflow from the Shopify admin

  1. From your Shopify admin, go toOrders,Draft orders,Products, orCustomers
  2. Click the order, draft order, customer, or product to run a workflow on.
  3. On the order, draft order, customer, or product page, clickMore actions
  4. ClickRun Flow automation
  5. In the new tab that opens, select the workflow to run.
  6. ClickRun workflow
  7. Optional: ClickView results in Flowto review the results of the workflow on theActivity page

Run a workflow with a bulk action

Workflows can be run manually on a maximum of 50 orders, draft orders, customers, or products. Everything that is affected by the workflow must be present on the same page in the Shopify Admin. If the orders, draft orders, customers, or products that you want to affect aren't present on the same page, thenfilter your results

Steps:

  1. From your Shopify admin, go toOrders,Draft orders,Products, orCustomers
  2. Select the orders, draft orders, products, or customers to run a workflow on.
  3. ClickMore actions
  4. ClickRun Flow automation
  5. In the new tab that opens, select the workflow to run.
  6. ClickRun workflow
  7. Optional: ClickView results in Flowto review the results of the workflow on theActivity page
