Buying shipping labels individually using Shopify Shipping

You can buy Shopify Shipping labels individually in your Shopify admin. If you want to buy shipping labels in bulk, then refer toBuying shipping labels in bulk using Shopify Shipping.

Depending on your fulfillment locations, you can purchase labels from the following carriers through Shopify Shipping:

    The cost of shipping labels is displayed in your local currency before taxes such as EUR in France or GBP in the United Kingdom. After you buy a shipping label, the cost and the taxes are billed to you in USD through your Shopify account. For more information, refer toBilling and taxes.

    Before you buy your first shipping label

    Before you buy your first shipping label, do the following:

    Considerations for buying a shipping label

    Review the following considerations when buying a shipping label:

    • Shopify Shipping doesn't support DDP (delivered duty paid). If youcollect duties and import taxes at checkout, then you can't purchase a Shopify Shipping label for orders where duties have been collected. You need to purchase the label externally or refund the order.
    • You can collate your shipping labels with customs forms, andpacking slips, and print them together during thelabel purchase process. When you collate your shipping labels with other shipping documents, you combine and resize them to fit on your selected printing format. If you don't print your shipping documents during the shipping label purchase process, then you can only印刷them separatelyand you can't collate them.
    • Sendle carrier in Australiahas a different shipping label purchase process. To buy a label from Sendle, refer toBuy and print a shipping label from Sendle.

    Buy and print a shipping label

    1. From your Shopify admin, go toOrders.

    2. Click an order that contains unfulfilled items.

    3. 在theUnfulfilledsection, clickCreate shipping label.

    4. 在theITEMSsection, confirm the number of items that you want to include in this fulfillment. If you want to ship the customer's order using more than one fulfillment, then change the quantity of each item that you don't want to ship in this fulfillment. You can buy an additional shipping label for each fulfillment that's required to complete the entire order.

    5. Optional: To adjust the weight of individual items do the following:

      1. 在theITEMSsection, clickEdit weight.
      2. Adjust the weight for individual items. If your items have the same weight, then enter the weight. Verify the weight of the items in each shipment by clicking theItemsfield for an order. To adjust the total package weight, enter weight into the同样的重量适用于所有项目field, and then clickApply to all.
      3. If you want to save the weights to your product details, then selectSave weight to product details
      4. ClickDone.

    6. If you're shipping internationally, then you need to fill in acustoms form:

      2. Verify your product information such as weight, quantity, value, and description. The maximum international shipment's declared value can be up to 2,500 USD.
      3. Select country of origin.
      4. Enter aHS (Harmonized System) code.

    8. 在thePackagesection, select an existing package or create a new package:

      • To use an existing package, select a package from thePackagedrop-down menu.
      • To create a new package, follow these steps:
        1. 在thePackagesection, clickAdd package.
        2. 在theAdd packagedialog, enter the information about your new package.
        3. ClickAdd package.

    9. 在theTotal weight (with package)field, adjust and confirm the total weight of your shipment.

    10. 在theSHIPPING SERVICEsection, select a shipping method.

    11. Optional: Select any additional services, such as a signature or proof of age upon delivery. Additional services vary from carrier to carrier. To learn more, refer to thespecific carrier's page.

    12. If you're shipping from a location in the United States, then in the theSHIPPING INSURANCEsection you can addshipping insuranceto your shipment. The amount of coverage can include the total or part of the value of the items in the order and any shipping costs.

    13. 在theShipping datefield, select a shipping date. If you want to automatically send shipment details to your customers on that date, then selectSend shipping information to customers.

    14. Review your shipping details in theSummarysection, and then clickBuy shipping label.

    15. Choose whether tocollate your shipping labels with any customs forms or packing slips, and then select your printing paper format.

    16. Print your shipping labels and documents.

    1. From theShopify app, tapOrders.

    2. Tap the order that you want to fulfill.
